At Path Machining + Automation, we don’t measure our progress by the season, we measure it by how much closer we’re getting to being the most capable, trusted, and future-focused machining partner in the industry. Still, as summer winds down, it’s the perfect time to look back on what’s been a powerful few months of investment, thought leadership, and continued evolution.
Here’s a look at how we’ve kept our momentum strong this summer and continued building a smarter, faster, and more adaptable operation for our customers, partners, and team.
Hexagon LIVE 2025: Supporting the Future of Manufacturing
In June, our team traveled to Las Vegas to join Hexagon LIVE 2025, one of the industry’s premier technology events where innovation in smart manufacturing took center stage. We were proud to be there in partnership with Nexus by Hexagon, the digital collaboration platform we use to streamline our own production planning and AI-driven workflows.
This year’s event put a spotlight on next-gen tools like ProPlan AI, which we’ve actively integrated at Path to automate programming, reduce setup times, and increase output without compromising accuracy.
Being part of this conference wasn’t just about seeing what’s new. It was about showing the machining world that agile, mid-size shops like Path are already deploying these technologies and using them to raise the bar. Whether it’s real-time quoting, autonomous metrology, or faster prototyping, we’re proving that digital transformation isn’t just for the big players.
To build on that momentum, we also worked with the Hexagon team to produce a behind-the-scenes video filmed right here at the Path Machining + Automation shop. The video dives into how we’re using ProPlan AI and ESPRIT EDGE in real-world applications: from speeding up toolpath programming to enabling more consistent, scalable precision across jobs. If you want to see how smart manufacturing is already happening on the shop floor, this is a great place to start.
New Machine Spotlight: EMCO Hyperturn 50 Twin Turret
The latest addition to our shop floor arrived in June, and it’s a beast.
We officially welcomed the EMCO Hyperturn 50 Twin Turret, fully equipped with a 12-foot bar feeder designed for lights-out production and high-efficiency turning. This twin turret machine boosts our multi-axis production capabilities, enabling simultaneous operations that drastically reduce cycle times.
For our customers, this means:
- Faster delivery on complex jobs
- Higher throughput without sacrificing precision
- Greater flexibility for both prototyping and high-mix production
It’s another example of how we’re investing in not just more equipment, but smarter equipment that aligns with our vision for scalable automation and round-the-clock performance.
Ongoing Thought Leadership: Monthly Blogs + Quarterly Newsletters
We’ve made it a priority in 2025 to not just do great work, but to share what we’re learning and seeing in the field.
That’s why we’ve been publishing monthly blog articles that tackle everything from the future of American manufacturing to deep dives into specific capabilities like multi-axis mill turning, ITAR compliance, and the role of AI in production workflows.
Alongside that, our quarterly newsletters continue to keep clients and partners informed of what’s happening inside Path. That includes machine investments, team highlights, and the industry trends we’re watching closely.

Investing in What Matters Most: Our People and Our Partners
Behind every machine we run and every part we ship is a team that’s fully committed to getting it right.
While we’ve added new tech and attended big events, our biggest investment continues to be in our people. From programming and quoting to quality control and delivery, we’ve worked to ensure our team has the tools, support, and processes needed to succeed. Because when our team succeeds, so do our clients.
And we don’t lose sight of that. At the end of the day, we’re here to support the engineers, buyers, and production leads who rely on us to get the job done accurately and quickly, without excuses.
Yes, machines matter. But it’s our people who make Path what it is.
Looking Ahead
Summer might be wrapping up, but we’re just getting started. With more machine investments on the horizon, continued digital upgrades, and a growing network of trusted partners, we’re building for what’s next starting right now.
